How It Works

Every Pick to Click game is tied to a real, scheduled MLB matchup. An Umpire creates a game, you join the game, everyone drafts players from the two starting lineups, and then scores points live as those players do things on the field — hits, runs, RBIs, steals, strikeouts and the occasional costly error. 

The leaderboard updates as the box score does. When the real game goes final, so does yours and you are awarded celebratory announcements and Stitches. Stitches are Click to Pick's digital currency that you can use to buy in-app digital enhancements. Play the game within the game at the virtual ballpark today!

• Start a private game and share a 6-character code, or open a public game anyone can find and join.
• Games hold up to 10 members. Smaller groups get more picks: 1–6 players get 3 picks each, 7–10 players get 2 picks each.
• The draft opens automatically before first pitch. The umpire selects the type of draft - reverse snake, random order, auto (all with a pick clock) — if your clock runs out, the app auto-picks the best available player.
• Pick hitters from either starting lineup, or take a team's full pitching staff as one of your picks.
• A LIVE DRAFT screen takes over the app when your draft starts, so you never miss your turn. Turn on draft alerts from the bell to get a push notification too.

Points come straight off the real box score. Good plays add up, mistakes cost you.

Take a full pitching staff and you bank a point for every 4 strikeouts that staff records, plus a point for each pick off.

• The leaderboard re-ranks the moment one of your players makes a play.
• A Recent Plays feed logs every scoring play, inning by inning.
• An at-bat alert pops up when one of your picks steps to the plate.
• Dugout chat and pokes let you talk trash while the game plays out.

Stitches are the in-app currency of Pick to Click. You earn them just by showing up and playing — checking in each day, joining games, completing your draft, scoring points and finishing on the podium. New players start with a 200-Stitch signing bonus.

Stitches are digital only. They can be spent inside Pick to Click on digital items and nothing else — they can't be cashed out, traded or transferred. Your balance lives in Your Dugout Stash.

The Clubhouse Store is where your Stitches go to work. Everything there is digital and lives on your profile.

• Your Player Card (300 Stitches) is the first thing to buy — it's the centerpiece of your profile and the home for everything else.
• Once you own your card, cosmetics unlock: frames, patterns, skins and name styles to make the card yours.
• Badges hang on the back of your Player Card, up to five at a time, with a tooltip explaining each one.
• Draft Perks are available to everyone from day one, card or no card.

Nothing in the store affects scoring. It's all bragging rights.
